I just ordered the Makita the other day and I have the LC 6.5" pads, does the backing plate that comes with the Makita work with the pads, or do I need to buy another backing plate? What backing plate works best and is most popular with the Makita? Are the 6.5" pads the best pad size to use for normal detailing?
CCS Smart Pads™ are available in 6.5 inch, 7.5 inch, and 8.5 inch. For a 6.5 inch pad, we recommend a 5 inch backing plate. For a 7.5 inch pad, we recommend a 6 inch backing plate.
