Rounding off edges of 6.5" LC CCS Pads?

I'm curious if there was a way, DIY or commercial, to round off the edges of the 6.5" LC CCS pads. It would create a shape similar to the Edge or Meguairs pads.

Let me know.

Well I never heard of anyone doing that, I would usually just get the right pad for the right tool. But it don't hurt to try to save money. Might try a good pair of trimmers to shave off what you don't want. BTW cool avatar.

Charles, do you own a duospur? If so, I bet the metal cheese grater looking parts could do just what you are looking for. Besides, the cheese grater thing is for reshaping foam pads.

I actually did that with some CCS OEM pads. Just cut with scissors at like a 45 degree angle. Don't take too much off.

Spin it at low speed and use a razor blade.

Yikes! Have you actually done that?

I agree with the original poster about the CCS pads. Why aren't there any rounded edge choices besides the CMA pads (hate the wimpy backing fabric)?

Mangled My Fingers With Circular Saw! Squemish Don't Look!

lol Terrible, but I immediately thought of this...
Yea, yikes.

Seriously though, both the duosput and razor blade idea sounds good. I'll try them both on some older, worn out pads first.
Thank you all so much for the suggestions.
