New Flex User...

Sorry, no photos but I wanted to thank the Flex users here for recommending this great machine. I've been using a Porter Cable for many years with mixed results. I've heard so many good things about the Flex polisher and decided to ordered one for myself. I just used it for the first time yesterday. With a LC orange pad and SIP I completely removed all the swirl and spider marks on my white 300C. I was NEVER able to do this with the PC regardless of how many passes I made. It was a real pleasure to work on a car and finally see results (especially so quickly). This is a great machine and despite it's higher price, the results really speak for themselves. Thanks everyone for a great forum and advice!

Re: New Flex User...

I am with you. What a difference in speed, quality, cutting power, and easy to use to boot. I consider my PC purchase a mistake. I should have purchased the Flex in the first place.

Fles is a great machine but i still find a small use for the Pc so i wouldn't toss it out the door yet, never hurts to have a backup on hand may take longer but at least you can still finish the job you started.

Re: New Flex User...

I'd agree with you on the PC, untill I tried 5.5" low profile pads and 4" pads - you can get serious with those. Keep the PC, you never know when you might need a back-up and it's great for carpets if you get the brushes. Congrats on the Flex, may try one myself one day.

Re: New Flex User...

I purchased the brushes and they came with an incompatible interface for the PC. What's up? Any ideas?
