Power Ball for Paint

I know I may be stepping on toes or opening a can of worms but here goes. What do you guys on the forums think of the Mothers Powerball for paint? Could something like this really be used for light swirl marks, and not mess up the paint in the process? I have a sordless drill and am looking to buy a machine but how nice would it be if this actually worked. What do you guys think?

I think it would be hologram city if you used that on your paint. I would use it on wheels though.

If all I had was a cordless drill, I would go out and get a backing plate for sanding pads and use polishing pads instead. You can pick one up for four or five dollars at wally world. Combine the the price of a white pad and the sanding backing plate and it is cheaper than one of those powerballs for paint. I jsut can't see them working worth a darn.

Doesnt look good, I would rather polish by hand if given the choice.

I do not like the idea of the power ball for paint. I would have to agree with rdavex7 I would rather polish by hand. I recently purchased the Mothers Power ball thinking it would be a easy way to polish rims and was very disappointed it is way to bulky for most rims and had a tendency to get caught on the spokes.
