just ordered my PC 7424 kit

i'm new to car detailing, been reading up on this site and doing research. i hope to get my paint as good looking as some of yalls.

just ordered my Porter Cable 7424.

i tried out the new 7424 this weekend. i practiced on my 8yr old car, just on the trunk. its got heavy oxidation.

clay, #83, then #82. wow. its like a mirror. i missed a few spots, but in general i'm very impressed. this weekend i'll do the entire car, and apply a sealant or wax.

BTW, no one ever mentions how much this thing slings crap around.

If you've got splatter, you're using too much product. It is hard to get used to how little you need to use.
