Rotory Adapters/kits Question

Hi, I have been reading the forums and seaching on Autopia for quite a while and finally decided to make an account.

As I have been seaching and becoming more serious about detailing I have been deciding on what buy. Since searching, I have come across kits for rotories that allow it to become a mult-functional tool. An example is the one below:

Metabo & Dynabrade = Ultimate detailing machine

I remember another conversion(?) or modification on a Makitia that allowed the tool to become "more multi-purpose"

Using the search function, using key words, I was limited in my findings. I plan on buying a rotory but also have kits that allow it to suit future needs (converting to DA to finish, etc.)

So I was wondering if anyone could post links or more information about these kits. TIA
