Hmm.. that makes sense. None of my 7.5" "mushroom" CCS pads have delaminated. Only the black 6.5" ones.

Re: Has anybody seen these updated CCS pads?

I never had any luck with the low profile pads, and I thought 7/8" was way to thin for entire car detailing. Especially when they state they are discarded after short poishing sessions. Ots economical to use a thin pad for a very short duration, but not for an entire car IMO. I just feel the foam collapses beyong a margin of safety. But TETO.

Exactly, I have noticed my orange pads wear out in the center when used for long periods of time after a few vehicles - causing them to become thinner in the center, caving in slightly.

Re: Has anybody seen these updated CCS pads?

I've had no problems yet with my black 6.5" CCS smart pad, probably used them 4 times now. I love the pad.
