I noticed that for PB SSR1/SSR2 that a finishing pad is recommended. The recommended pad is usually a white pad for both SSR1 and SSR2.

Try them on a finishing pad and see what happens, especially on softer paints I found myself by DA being able to get a slightly sharper finish less prone to micromarring (on soft, dark solid colours) using a finishing pad - I'm also quite a fan of softer pads myself.

But for a little more cut, you would need to use them on a polishing pad.
