Ripples in Velcro-Pad Backing

I got some new pads in. Surely I have not gone through as many sets/brands of pads that you guys have.

On some of them...LC made, there is slight ripples on the velcro side of the pad. Not enough to feel but enough for me to see. I've read past threads on issues where the velcro came off....

Based on mine, is it poor QC of these particular pads or is that ~normal~ of some manufacturing variations. Granted....I just looked at all the other pads I have.....and do not see this slight rippling effect. Again, I can visually see it but it's not to the point where I can feel it.....

mine have the ripple effect around the edges due to using the PC with the LC flat pads on speed 6, and also using the smaller 5" backing plate. however, the velcro is in-tact and not coming un-glued at all...

kinda like this below...
