Makita 9227CX3 / CX4 / CY

I see there are different models of the Makita available. I read somewhere that the "CX3" and "CX4" only differs on the accessories included. I also see a "CY" version. Are there any real differences that I need to know about?

anything after the "C" is just what extra/accessories are included...

I'd also like to add that the photo that Makita lists for the CX3 is incorrect, as it comes with 2 wool type pads, not a "egg-crate" polishing pad like the one in the photo.
