PC died... time for an upgrade?

I'm kinda pissed. I was helping my buddy on his TSX yesterday and my PC started smoking... suddenly it died. My PC is 1 year and a month old. I sent an email to detailersparadise where I purchased my PC to see if they can help.

If no luck with them since my 1 year warranty expired last month... what should my next DA polisher be? Flex, UDM or another PC. The Flex looks pretty cool, but I don't want to spend too much... but it really depends on how it performs.

I need to polish my car

Re: PC died... time for an upgrade?

You can probably get your PC repaired for less than buying a new machine.

Edit: You've got a factory service center (and another place) right in your area:

PORTER CABLE/DELTA/DEWALT FACTORY SERVICE CENTER (JACKSONVILLE)
920 CASSAT AVE
JACKSONVILLE, FL 32205-4898
US
904-781-2253

North Florida Power Tool Repair
3543 W. Beaver St
Jacksonville, FL 32254
US
904-387-4455

Re: PC died... time for an upgrade?

My PC quit and I had it repaired - run 10X better than it did new when I got it back. Tip - use 5.5" or 4" pads for correction and regular ones to apply LSP's.

Thanks for the address. I never knew, but I do know both of the streets in town. Thanks

How much did it cost for the repairs?

Re: PC died... time for an upgrade?

I got an email response back from Nick, and all I need to do is send the damaged PC back to him, and he'll get me a new one! My only problem is finding a box since I threw the original box away a few months ago.

Setec Astronomy, thanks again for the address. I'll have to write these down for future reference.

I got those from Delta Machinery | Porter Cable, I punched in a Jax zip code and there they were.

Re: PC died... time for an upgrade?

I called AG and they gave me the address of the local repair shop, the lady at the shop checked the serial number and said warranty would cover it - I had it for a few weeks over a year.
