System 2000 vs Universal Pad Washer

Any review or comparison between the two?

I have a rotary and I think it's time to get a pad washer. Other than the advantage of cleaning pads using DA/ROB with the UPW, any other discerning advantage of getting the new UPW? Which is better for a rotary user?

Thanks in advance.

Re: System 2000 vs Universal Pad Washer

I have never used the UPW, but the system 2000 works very well for me on the rotary.

Re: System 2000 vs Universal Pad Washer

Hi there again David F, posted on a few other forums but don't seem to get much reviews/opinions anywhere. Yours seemed to be the only one that compares the two.

I've thank you back there and I'm thanking you again here.

Re: System 2000 vs Universal Pad Washer

I have a System 2000 and cleaned about 25 pads yesterday in about 30 minutes using my rotary. It's been around for a while and works well.

Re: System 2000 vs Universal Pad Washer

I have the UPW but I haven't been able to actually use it due to school. I think I might have a few hours this weekend to spare to work on the good ol' Bimmer or perhaps maybe even my brother's 240sx.

Yeah, I'll try my best to do that if I find the time to use it, hehe.
