Aloha Detailing- Festool RO 150 FEQ

Finally took the leap and bought one! It was a tough decision! BUT....... Totally worth it! I've been primarily using a Makita BO6040 for most jobs. and a 9227 for major corrections. And before that a PC, Cyclo, and I've also tried the Flex. The Festool is incredible! Smooth, lots of power, ergonomic, balanced. The only thing I did notice it has has a high pitch sound which is pretty loud.

It was snowing yesterday so I set up a Chevy door that I used for PDR and tested it out. The door had some deep scratches, waterspots, and swirls. In the Rotex rotary motion (Forced rotation) It removes deep scratches quickly, it is also alot more controllable than my BO6040 in the same mode. The Festool is really smooth and powerfull in this mode I started out in #6 using orange pad w/Extreme cut, then #4 with 106FF. It seems like it leaves a depth and shine my BO6040, PC, or Flex couldnt achieve.(could be all in my mind because the $$$ I spent)

In the Eccentric mode (Random Orbit) it also alot more smooth and powerfull compared to the others I've used.

The Festool is simply awesome!
Sorry pics not to good

Totally off topic, sorry...

CaptinFocker, which model Focker do you Captain? F28? F100?

Edit: Mods, we're not being disgusting, promise... it's aviation related.

The afters look excellent. How much did you get it for? Does it replace the 9227 for YOU?
