rock chips

Any advice on how to fix rock chips, or deep scratches through the clearcoat?

Re: rock chips

I've wetsanded some with 2000 grit sand paper and gave it a once over with a compound. Lessened its looks. Otherwise, I don't know. Maybe Langka Paint Chip Repair Kit?

Re: rock chips

jwgarrison- See if you can find a fairly recent thread started by cytomax (search on his user-name) in which we discussed this. I went into more detail than I have time to do right now. If you can't find that thread post back as I don't mean to blow you off (hope it doesn't sound that way).

But be forewarned, the results are never IME all *that* wonderful (my painter can do 'em just super but mine never turn out that great).
