Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 18 | Flex L 3403 Vrg I purchased a FLEX L 3403 VRG last wednesday morning, and I paid the $20 to have shipped out 2 day air.
Well, I would have never known that I got it if I hadn't gone into the office here at my Apartment complex. Apparently, someone forgot to put my apt number on the box.
Mistakes happen, so thats cool.
Well, I pulled everything in the afternoon on Saturday, just to see the quality of everything.
Well, I'm not extremely impressed with the pads. I received a White and blue one, and in my honest opinion, they're the same pad, just different colors.
Now, on to the thing that reallt got my blood boiling!!
The velcro backing plate that came with the set, DOES NOT FIT!!!
I specifically ordered this set, because it came with the backing plate!!!
So...
I'm not reporting how the unit works / performs, because I CAN'T USE IT!!
I have already left a message with FLEX and with Powerhouse.
My plans are to send them back the pads, backing plate, and MF. and Just get a refund on the extra stuff I bought.
I have to find a backing plate for it on a SUNDAY now!!
AWESOME HUH?
Any suggestions anyone?

It is 5/8 thread, so should fit the 3403. It's not cheap by any means (approx. $60), but if you're in a pinch, you're in a pinch. I almost bought one a few weeks ago, but chickened out when they went to "ring" me up. It did seem like a nice BP though. I have a Flex LK 302 that I've been meaning to bust out now for a while.

I thought that maybe there was a design change and maybe they put it in a different area. Not! I took a picture of it and sent it to the supplier that I purchased it from and they couldn't believe it after seeing the pictures. They never saw one manufactured without a switch. Anyway, they sent me a new one and this one has a switch. I'm sure that everyone has a story to tell about a product they bought that was defective but otherwise was a great product. You and I were just a couple of misfortunate ones.
