Thats awesome when do you think the release date will be ? Trying to get all my tools together before the weather breaks and I get hammered with jobs.

Re: Flex 3403 VRG

Well, I was finally able to detail my car with the Flex!

Here is a mini review for now:

MX5 got some Z Concours + Flex L3403 VRG Review

When I get more experience with the machine I will post a more in-depth review

Re: Flex 3403 VRG

What are the pro's and con's with regards to the highish low speed setting of 1100rpm's on the 3403 ?

Is it as big an issue as some suggest or is it not all that bad...I am new to this and am considering the 3403 as a first rotary due to it's size and light weight but the speen issue has me worried..........HELP please hehe

First, that was an awesome outcome on that detail. Beautiful car.

Second... Now that you've had the Flex for a while, would you recommend it? My current rotary is on it's last legs and I'm looking at a replacement. I was thinking Makita 9227 or Hitachi SP18VA, but the Flex now has my attention. I never use large pads, and the light weight has lots of appeal.

Re: Flex 3403 VRG

Thanks for the nice comment SuperBee364!

I absolutely recommend it Used it again on a RS4 and it acted beautifully. You may go well with a Makita (excellent machines) and it is the choice of many detailers, but its a bit on the heavy side and a bit too much for me and my back problems. I find the Flex to be very well built and very smooth with the electronic accelerating trigger, add to this its light weight and it fits me perfectly!

Although let me recommend you also that you get some 3M pads + 3M backing plate. They are the best thing I ever used!

Re: Flex 3403 VRG

I didn't find the 1100rpm lowest speed to be of any issue at all

Excellent! I have a 3403 on order! I'm also going to get the 3M backing plate and some of their pads. I saw the picture you had of the 3403 using the 3M plate and pads. It looks like a very nice setup. Thanks for the help!
