Wrench included with 9227? Stock Bp w/LC?

Hey whats up guys my makita 9227c finally came in (purchased brand new)and I was wondering does it come with the skinny wrench such as the one included with the PC or UDM to remove pads? I did notice it has a shaft lock which you press which holds the backing plate in place. Also can I use the stock backing plate included with 6.5inch LC pads? thanks again!

mine didn't come with one and i had two new polishers in two weeks , the first one from coastal tools came without the rpm adjuster dial ! just a big gapping hole were one should have been. they told me to keep the pads and bag and just send the polisher back , well to my surprise when the replacement came they gave me 2 more pads and another bag so i was happy

no wrench needed(so it's not supplied)
just press the shaft lock and grab the BP

thanks you guys, is the stock BP able to work with LC pads?

Its hook and loop so it will; can't remember the exact size, but it'll prolly only work well with 8" pads since its fairly large. Get a 5.5-6" backing plate for your 6.5" pads.
