Re: Watch my snake shed

I kept a couple at first but now that I've had him about a year and a half, shedding is old hat. Just happened to be the first time I had my camera handy when he was shedding. Then he pooped.

He seems to like being handled. Never objects to me picking him up, then he climbs all over me for the next 30-40 minutes.

20 gallon tank set-up was around $100 total (including a heating pad and bedding) and mice cost me $2.69 each week.

This is a video of him constricting and eating a mouse YouTube - Pullo vs mouse

How much larger will he get? At a certain point, will you need to switch to larger food, ie gerbils, hamsters, or rats?

When my brother's Burmese Python reached 6 feet, he was getting too big for gerbils. He gave it away after that.

Re: Watch my snake shed

Corn snakes average 4-6 feet long. His head isn't real big so at full size he will be eating large adult mice.

I like dogs that belong to other people. Dogs require too much attention and time that I simply don't have. Plus when you pet them, your hands stink.
