Head Unit Opinions: Panasonic CQ-C8803U

I really liked my old Scion head unit. When I played a CD, it displayed the artist, track number, song title, etc. My new stock unit in my frontier is junk, all it displays is the track number.

I've been researching new units and the Panasonic looks like a good deal. I think it does everything I want it too and it allows for some add ons in the future.

The only thing I'm curious about, how can you tell if it has a connection that allows you to hook up your mp3 player directly? I'm not looking to control it through the head unit, but from the acutal mp3 player.

Anyways, anyone have any experience with this unit? Or have one to recommend? Thanks!

The best bang for the buck has to be the Pioneer DEH-P880PRS. Five years ago a unit like this would have cost over $800. You can get it on Ebay for less than $300.

Looks like a great unit you recommended. However, upon doing some more research, I'm really looking for something with a USB port.

I don't care for iPods at all and would like to use my little flash player through the player. I've read that if you use an auxillary port you'll experience quite a bit of signal loss, so going through a USB port is recommended.
