Gouged some interior plastic..anyone know of a fix?
We had a power washer in the back of my wifes wagon and it fell over and totally gouged the junk out of some plastic panel on the hatch. Is there a fix for this? It is textured plastic too.
Thanks!
No experience what-so-ever with these products, but I figured I'd give you the link if nothing else comes up...It's something worth looking into at the least. 3M
And here is someone answering how to repair something like this using the 3M stuff.
My brother bought a used Saturn once that came with some initials scratched deeply into the dashboard (looked like it was with a knife). He took it to some local shop that repaired things like that, so there are definitely people out ther who do it. The job they did was pretty good. It didn't look like new or anything, but it definitely made it less noticeable.
Go to your local autoparts supplier and they usually have a "vinyl and leather repair kit" this is going to be the cheapest way. The only other way is pretty much getting it replaced
