Anyone know about the radio in the new T-bird?

Has anybody here been inside the dash of one of the new Thunderbirds? Specifically, I'm wondering if the antenna plug to the radio is the standard type of pin that most aftermarket radios use. I am hoping to install an Audiovox FMM-100 modulator so that I can use an iPod with the stock radio in my 2003 T-bird. But I don't want to pull the dash only to find that the wiring harness or antenna interface will make the install difficult.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

From what I can find, it seems it may just be the regular style antenna plugs

Metra doesn't list an antenna adapter so I assume it wouldn't need one.

I would check out Precision Interface Electronics (PIE), if anyone has an adapater that will plug n play, it would be them.

They also have a forum where you can ask...

Thanks for the input, guys. I guess I'll go ahead and try the install.

I really appreciate the ability to get an answer here, as I've had this same question posted on a T-bird forum for three weeks with no response.
