With the big interest in photography on this forum I though I'd post this up. I was flipping through the stations last Wednesday night and ran into one of the public funding channels (channel 21) called Travels to the Edge. I though the show was great for photographers, which is why I was glued to the TV, as well people who are just interested in photography. The photographer, Art Wolfe, was just walking around India taking pictures of the culture and people. He was really able to capture the moment, not to mention it was cool to see other cultures and countries. It was nice how he was narrating the documentary, and they showed his actual photos of what he was capturing, which was btw very nice and accurate.
I would definitely recommend everyone to try to find a listing of when it's on and try to watch/tape it. I have yet to see a TV show like this, but then again I don't have any crazy cable/dish setups, nor do I really watch too much TV.
Travels to The Edge with Art Wolfe
It seems like the TV schedule on the site has all crazy times for it being broadcasted, at least where I live. My recommendation would be to look for the show on your public channels through a TV scanner or TV guide. For people in my area it was on Wednesday Nights at 10:30pm on channel 21.
