Re: anyone concerned about their car(s) on halloween?

One time my ride got wrap with plastic at work when i was doing inventory on halloween and it took me about 45 mins to get it off. It was done by co-workers from another store. I did get back at them

Re: anyone concerned about their car(s) on halloween?

My car has been egged twice already and overall, the paint is in poor condition so I'm not too worried. The XC90 has already been badly keyed, the old Volvo sitting in our driveway is old and a POS, my father-in-law's car is a boring, old man's car that most people wouldn't notice, and the Saab 9-5 is a newer, Swedish POS that's swirled to hell. All will be parked outside on Halloween. If any of them gets egged, I'll be disappointed but I would get over it quickly.

If any of the cars were in perfect condition, it would be a different story.

Anyway, I hope you and your family members' cars make it out safely on Halloween night Allen!

Re: anyone concerned about their car(s) on halloween?

Both of my cars are garaged at home, but one is in a lot during the day. The good news is that the lot is in an industrial park, it's way back from the main road and it's gated.

There's always the ride home, though. I have to make sure my QD bottle is full and bring an extra MF towel or two just in case.

And a can of to be opened up on any punks looking to use the car for target practice.

Glass got shot out on my beater last year with a pellet gun...

I'm not even crazy enough to leave my nice stuff outside on a regular night though. Always stays in the garage.

Re: anyone concerned about their car(s) on halloween?

Unlike most of my neighbors, mine will be sitting in the garage as they do all the time. Heck, I just finished a neighbor lady's car yesterday and she left it out overnight with some frost last nigth and some more expected tonight. I told her again today that it needs to be in the garage. Another neighbor down the street has a newer Vette and an '05 Acura TL sitting in his driveway when they have a 3 car garage. There is a newer 350z parked in the garage along with all their junk.

Re: anyone concerned about their car(s) on halloween?

I've had to park outside on the street for 4 weeks due to my garage being built. I am having the pad poured tomorrow so I can park on it Tuesday and Wednesday night. I guess that answers your question.

Be careful with this type of comment; people who fill their perfectly sized garages with junk and leave their poor vehicles to suffer outside often defend their decisions quite strongly!

As for me, I am blessed with a spot in the garage - so heck yea I'm going to use it!

Re: anyone concerned about their car(s) on halloween?

NO!
All of my cars are outside, always have been always will be
I don't park inside, Garages are for working on cars only
I will never trailer my car no matter how "unstreetable" I make them
I drive my car in the rain and snow.. they are cars that's what they are for
I am man hear me roar

The individual(s) that cause people to be concerned of their cars on halloween should be more concerned about their personal safety (Historically and presently speaking) as far as my vehicles are concerned.

So no, not the least bit.
