I'll have to change my signature line...

The lovely Mrs. Gonz has been getting the "new car itch"....

We got a promotion from our Credit Union for a $20 gas card just to visit any one of the participating dealerships. She wanted to test drive a Ford Edge...and we ended up buying one. Because we financed at the Credit Union, we will also be getting a $100 gift card, which will be used to buy winter mats for the Edge.

It's a 2007 Ford Edge SEL AWD in Dune Pearl Metallic with Camel leather interior, all wheel drive, the panaramic sunroof, the audiophile sound system, dual zone climate control, heated leather seats and the Premium chrome wheels. and the rest of toys except the DVD system for the back seat and the Navigation system. It was driven as a demo by the general manager, so we got an excellent deal.

We pick it up on Monday.

My 1997 F-150 will be going up for sale (I already have a few people interested in it) , and I will be taking over the wifey's Jeep Grand Cherokee as my daily driver.

Very nice car.
One of my regular maintenance clients picked up one of those earlier this year and absolutely loves it. I didn't even know they existed until he brought it into me one day.

Some advice, look for water spots on the panoramic sunroof. His sat in the lot for a bit and collected some nasty spotting on the glass that I polished off.
