Lou Malnatis can be delivered anywhere in the US, and when you get them, they are amazing. For us FL people, they are opening Giordanos like crazy down there. (better than ginos IMHO) but both are good. I am not sure that Chicago or NY is better. Both are very different. And both are very good.

I know you live in Tampa, but for those living in the Miami area . . . has anyone ever visited Frankie's Famous Pizza on Bird Rd. in South Miami? AWESOME pizza that I used to get all the time when I lived in Coral Gables and was once rated one of the top 50 pizza places in the U.S.A. (or maybe it was the world I don't remember) by Conde Nast Traveler magazine.

The best part . . . they put an extra slice on top of the box for you to eat on the way home!

Deep dish: Gino's East in Rolling Meadows - tell them "deep dish sausage patty." There are other GREAT one's like Lou Malnati's or Giordano's, but Gino's East is best in my book.
Thin crust: Home Run Inn in Chicago or Darien. Nothing compares.

You will not beat these pizzas.
Agree 100% about sausage patty at Gino's. I live like 5 minutes from these. I'd go more often but my wife doesn't like the atmosphere and the whole "writing on the wall" thing going on there. Giordano's deep dish Hawiian is a close second place for best pizza ever.
