Re: Autopia.org Ownership Changes?
I read it that Autopia.org has been a financial drain of the original owner (Perfect Shine LLC?). There are all sorts of reasons for it being a separate financial operation.

Re: Autopia.org Ownership Changes?
Autopia is unique as the owners are very tolerant of product discussions (not limited to certain brands). I hope it continues to exist.

I come here to discuss products that aren't sold at AG. I hope I'll still be able to do that here.

Re: Autopia.org Ownership Changes?
I'm also a member of AVSForum.com for home theater discussion, and it is run by an actual home theater store. That site is wide open on product discussion even though they only carry a select line. I know one thing they do is offer a yearly (or lifetime membership) which gives you extra features such as being able to sell gear on the site. You don't have to have a paid membership to buy the gear though. Also, paid membership skips you past advertisements, and there are a few other perks as well.
