pin stripes R/R

I want to replace the pin stripes that are coming off. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions besides cleaning the area of wax? Would it be best to put them in the same location? They are the tape variety and will be using the same. Thanks.

Wow, 26 hits and no replys. I guess it's an easy job like I thought it would be.

Re: pin stripes R/R

Yeah, it should be pretty simple. I'd use an adhesive remover to get the rest of the old stripes off and to prep the surface, and I'd put the new stripes on the same way so you won't have to deal with any differences between the paint that was/wasn't covered by the old ones.

But to be honest, I'd take 'em off, polish, and leave 'em off...but that's just me
