Solicitation E-mails - what's your breaking point?

There are a few companies I've signed up for to get e-mail about specials, etc. The vast majority I check / or uncheck the 'send me crap' box when I register on a site. But I do like getting specials from Sears, Herrington catalog and a few others. However, it seems that recently they've upped the ante. I have had 3 different ones from Sears today, 2 from Herrington and 2 form American Express Rewards. All three of them are getting the big 'UNSUBSCRIBE' due to excessive e-mails. One, maybe two a week I can tolerate, but it seems like they just keep pushing to see how many they can send before their whole customer base gets pissed & unsubscribes.

Where's your braking point?

I get them all the time. not so much in my business email account. I just mark them as spam. That, or get the email addy it was sent from and sign them up for email porn.

My breaking point? Zero. I fight spam for a living. Unsolicited email be it company or personal, gets you canned.

I never sign up to see specials. When I am ready to buy, I go look and see if there is a special.
