Question Looking for a good program to d/l music and files.

I've been using Limewire Pro but I want to try something else. Mostly for downloading games and things. What do you use?

This is a respectable site. Lets not talk about where you steal your crap from.

For when I am purchasing games, I check on Steam to see if they have the game on there. It's quick, easy and they use PayPal. It's where I got Garry's Mod, which is a cool physics sandbox, a mod of Half-Life 2.

Just because it uses a P2P protocol doesn't mean its "stolen." Let's not take an overly elitest route here.

Don't get me started about Steam, I bought a used copy of HL-2 Episode 1 from a guy who plays a lot of games. Went to install it and lo and behold since he has registered the keycode you can't use it again. He had no idea and since he doesn't have his receipt I would have to pay Valve $10 for a new code. I only paid $12 for the disc so no savings going this route.

Just do a search on Steam and you'll see how many irate people are out there who hate it. It's just a scam for Valve to grab as much money as they can. I won't buy any more of their products and I was a faithful HL and HL-2 fan. If your ISP has a good newsgroups server why not use that? I love using Newsbin and there are other good programs out there that allow you to easily get what you're looking for from the Usenet.
