The only picture I could find was of the Hurst shifter and the trunk (don't even remember why I had a picture of that) but no full car shots. Couldn't find the negatives either. Tonight, I was looking through a picture rolodex at my parent's house and they had a picture of my Z! I have tons of pictures of my Chevelle but until I found this, no full shot of the Z.
L-82 350, Muncie M-21 4 speed with a Hurst shifter, Hooker Headers, 2.5" exhaust with Sonic Turbos and dumps at the rear axle, Edelbrock Performer intake and a Holley 3310.

The kid who drives it was in my graduating class. Don't know exactly what he had done to it other than exhaust, which is kind of noticeable. There was also a 1978 Camaro RS sitting at one of the used car lots in town, and in great shape no less.

I tell ya, that L-82 was very strong for a smog motor.

Those were the fun days of cars and it was amazing what $1000 could buy back then.

I think I'm gonna get one as my next project once my Malibu and Firebird are closer to being complete...
I've got a whole bunch of pictures and videos of all of the cars I've owned, I really need to organize them all and put them on a CD-R and put it somewhere safe, because I wanna have them to show to my kids in 20 or 30 years.
My uncle has a really old vid (Probably early 70's at the latest, no sound or anything) of him, my dad, and my other uncle at the track with their cars, which is VERY cool.
Heres a pic of one of my dad's cars (Poncho powered, would lift the front wheels off the ground with the M&H slicks he had, no problem!)

Do your dad or uncles still have any of their old cars? If not wouldn't you like to find that car in a barn sometime and bring it home?
That's pretty neat that you finally found a picture of your old Z/28 Scott........ I don't have any pictures of my early cars that I can find. | |

Your suspension was probably no better than mine, however.
