Detailing products in baggage?
Want to know if anyone ever took detailing products with him on an airplane, or knows something about it.. assuming everything gets placed with the rest of the baggage when checking (not as a carry in item on the plane), is it possible? Items include a few polishes, paste wax, etc.
Thank you

I don't see why it would be a problem. You are allowed to have a gun and ammo in your luggage, why not waxes?

Re: Detailing products in baggage?
The only thing I would be hesitant about putting in my luggage would be a bar of clay. I'm sure you'd eventually be cleared to go, but I'd hate to risk a delay over something that looks a lot like C4.

The best thing to do with the clay is stick a bunch of wires in it and wrap your wrist watch around it.
LOL

Yeah, I'm sure the TSA's would get a big laugh out of that one
That might even earn you that "special" designation on all future airline tickets..... you know, the one where you get a free cavity search before each flight

Re: Detailing products in baggage?
The only thing I would be careful of are liquids such as creme waxes and sprays. The pressure differential could very well push the liquids out of the bottles and cause them to leak.

Re: Detailing products in baggage?
Well, considering the state of "security" in the airports today, I'm sure they'll assume any liquid, even water, is a bomb. Those bottles you carry it in? Maybe its some crazy plastic explosive. That box of french fries your two year old is carrying? Of course, he's a member of Al-Qaeda, duh. Little slivers of DEATH
You can barely get away with underwear these days. Oh, and if its not a problem through security, don't be surprised if some of that stuff goes "missing" after you check it in and let the bagging handlers go at it.
