Re: Top Gear and Red Necks....
Great video! I love TopGear...wish I got it on my cable...
I'm pretty sure it's faked, though. I mean, the last 30 seconds are filmed from outside the car...meaning it that part was most likely specially staged...and if they stage the "run to the border" is faked, then the rest may have been too.

Re: Top Gear and Red Necks....
I don't ever give much thought to real or fake when watching videos as such. I just look at it from the perspective of entertainment.
That video was definitely entertaining

Re: Top Gear and Red Necks....
haha yea I'm a big Top Gear fan and I really loved that last episode.
It's sad we could never have an American Top Gear though, too many cry babies in this country... which is why they tried to do it and failed. The Brits have such witty humor, not our crude humor some people in this country find funny.

Re: Top Gear and Red Necks....
Wow funniest clip I've seen in a while.
I can totally relate to when I went on a road trip to Florida, had to pass through North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia...LOL. (no offence to those who live there).
Oh yeah, I've also been to Alabama and they really are like that over there!

Re: Top Gear and Red Necks....
Amusing episode of Top Gear, altough I was really shocked to see how the damage of Katrina is still there, after more then a year.
Shame on Bush to spend silly amounts of money in the Far East, while his own citizens are bordering on the wrong side of life quality...

It isn't the federal government's responsibility to bail out people who live in hurricane prone areas. Billions have already been spent anyway, for your information.
Maybe you ought to get your news from something other than Top Gear.

Re: Top Gear and Red Necks....
That Top Gear was pre-arranged, point.
But the damage that was still visible is not I presume ?
(We have the same problem here were I live with flooding sometimes, it's the peoples own choice to live there)
Anyway, were in the hell did he find that cow beast, and how did he put it onto his car's roof ?
LOL

However, the local government has shown themselves to be ineffective, so someone has to step in. Most of those people were too poor to really have a choice as to where to live.
That's how I see it, anyway

Congress has approved over $85 billion in direct spending and about $8 billion in tax relief for the region. Please, a quick look at Belgium's history can fill volumes for something to be ashamed of Stick with what you know; waffles and beer.
Back to the video. Very funny, but obviously staged.
