you couldnt be more wrong. this is the older e39 which almost all were 6 speed manuals.the new e60 m5's had only SMG for the first year and this year they released the manual version which is slower than smg. on smg you can turn traction control all the way off, on manual e60's you cant do it completely. SMG is a performance transmission, it shifts faster than humans can, and doesnt screw up like humans do with moneyshifts and stuff like that

ive been up to 170 in this m5....it is indeed a performance sedan.
the video i have seen a hundred times and it never gets old...
