For all the Firefox users

Hey,

The other day I finally decided to install some of those extensions that everyone seems to love for Firefox, and now I know why people like them! I've been using Firefox for a long time now and I'm glad I installed these.

The first one is FoxyTunes. I can control my media player and stuff from in my browser, which is especially helpful since I usually listen to music while I surf the net.

The other two are Adblock Plus and DownloadHelper. Adblock blocks ads (self explanitory lol), I had the older version of Adblock before and it didn't do much, more of an annoyance than anything, but this version works well, and DownloadHelper is an easy way to download embedded videos from websites like Youtube etc.

I even took some screenshots (I'm bored lol). I changed the botton places for Adblock and DownloadHelper for a more clean install, and FoxyTunes is in the place where it gets installed on its own.





It even shows the album art if you want it to




I liked these so much I thought I'd share, have fun! BTW these are all free.

Also, I forgot but I have another extension I installed so when I hit F8 I can see a cascade of all my tabs, that way if I have a tons of tabs open I can see a preview of each one.

yea, I love those extensions. You should also check out tab mix plus and smooth scroll.

I hope you don't mind if I ask you a question... I'm a long time user of adblock plus, and I've always had this suepr annoying problem to where if I open up a lot of tabs at once, the whole browser freezes intermittently until all the tabs are done loading. I tried disabling ad block plus, and the browser remains functional while other tabs are loading.

Have you experienced this problem?

Actually, right now I have 14 tabs open with no problem, maybe you need to update your version. Right now I have 0.7.2.4. As far as opening tabs at the same time, I don't do that too much, but I'll try it and see what happens.

Hope you can fix that, that'd be annoying.
