Autopia from WAY back

Hey,

I was on another forum and found a link to this really cool site that archives websites regularly. Check out Autopia on September 21, 2002!

http://web.archive.org/web/200211241...w.autopia.org/

It's funny too, if you notice on the left in the shoutbox, who was the last person to say something? That's right, it's Scottwax! lol. He's also got two photo gallery thumb nails up. It's cool to see that we have members that don't drop out on us after a few weeks like at a lot of other forums I've been to.

Here's the site I got it from, it has archives from all different dates on all kinds of sites:

Internet Archive

Have fun!

Cool. Even though I wasn't a member way back then, it is cool to see how Autopia was over 4 years ago.

Ha, I joined a few months later after lurking for a while.

I remember reading about Blitz Wax all the time. That was the wax du jour in the day.

The Klasse/Zaino wars were interesting too.

Re: Autopia from WAY back

Heh heh, I remember lurking on and off for ages before I finally joined and posted anything...I must've been lurking around '99-2000 as it was before we moved into the current house. I'd like to see some of the *really* old threads from back then...as Scottwax said, Blitz over IHG was very big and some people who preferred sealants (and who can remain nameless) were under the impression that carnaubas always "turn yellow". It sure was a lot simpler back then, compared to the level of perfection (gee, not to say "nitpicking" ) that's considered "Autopian" these days.
