Hit a half Court Shot Win a Car.

Just found this press release about one of my new fav cars......all you have to do is hit a half court shot in front of 19,000 people and you'll win a free nitro. Sounds easy...lol. Looks like this guy was surprised he hit the shot! Pretty awesome!

I did that in high school for a $200 gift cert.
and a years supply of smartfood popcorn!

Who on here is old enough to remember the 'Keep your hand on a car' contests? Growing up, even in a small town, it seems like there was one almost every weekend at one of the dealers to go watch. Big Spotlight, free popcorn & balloons. Now dealers just want us to visit their website.

$200 gift certificate/year supply of smartfood or a new dodge nitro.....mmmmmm....peronally I would have to go with the car..lol. But I'm a big smartfood guy so I have to admit that is a close second. My uncle used to sell the packaging for smart food so I used to get bags for free when I was a wee lad.

i had this happen in highschool. It was for a school fundraising contest. The more of those "Diners Club" type coupon books we sold the more shots we got. I got 3 shots. Back to Back to Back half court shots in a row @ $200 a shot. Was the greatest thing i ever did. I wonder what the odds off hitting 3 in a row are?

I'm going to say that the odds of hittin' two in a row is real low and the odds of three in a row is extremely low.......check it out this car has it's own myspace www.myspace.com/nitro
..I respect that! Def a nitro fan.. I would like a shot at a free one too...lol!
