Jesse Owens, he came to speak at my high school back in the 70s, stayed after the speech and signed autographs and shook the hands of pretty much all 900 students.

Mike Lalor and Craig Ludwig of the Dallas Stars, I've detailed their cars and Harleys.

Jerry Van Dyke when he was doing a show at the Safari Hotel in Scottsdale. He was out at the pool and was a real jerk to my brother and me when we said 'hi' to him.

Kerry Von Erich (of the wrestling Von Erichs) at Love Field in Dallas. He was one huge guy!

Shawn Stasiak aka Planet Stasiak of the WWF, detailed his Jeep Cherokee.

Best story is when I was in the Stockholm airport walking toward the gate. Coming down the ramp were about 15 guys all dressed in black jeans, black T-shirts and black leather jackets. Everyone was getting out of their way like they owned the place. As they got closer, I saw that it was the Ramones, with Joey leading the group. They were held up in customs for a long time (imagine that!) so I went and talked to them while they waited.

Same trip I was riding the elevator and when it stopped, Stevie Nicks & a couple of bodyguards got on, put an override key in the panel and said 'We're going straight to the basement'. I didn't argue. She got out of the elevator in the basement and right into a waiting limo.

I worked at Harrah's when I was younger. I was waiting for the service elevator and he came up behind me and asked if he could tag along!! He had two of the biggest body gaurds that I have ever seen with him. I am 6'5" about 290lb and I was DWARFED buy these guys!! He was a really nice and genuine guy!!

I met James Gandolfini a.k.a Tony Soprano two times. First time was on the street in NYC. I told him how much I liked the show and his acting. He smiled and thanked me. I met him again in NYC while on lunch break. We were both waiting on line; I was buying a sandwich, he was buying a Snapple.

I met Mario Batali (from Food Network) in his restaurant in NYC while eating.

I met Senator Tom Harkin from Iowa. Friends of the family threw a fund raiser dinner for him in their apartment in NYC. Through the same friends, I met a handful of cabinet officials from the Nixon, Reagan and Clinton administrations. Also (through the same friends) I met Steve Van Zandt from the Sopranos / E Street Band, Duran Duran, Calista Flockhart, Russell Simmons, Martha Stewart and Matt Lauer. They were at fund raisers my parent's friends host.

I partied with the guys from the band Phish after a show.

I went to high school with Zak Braff from Scrubs and Lauren Hill from the group the Fugees and knew them back in the day.

I shook hands with disgraced NJ Senator Robert Torricelli.

I met my football god Lawrence Taylor. I met former Giants place kicker Ali Haji Sheikh from the 1980's. I met Dwight Gooden while he pitched for the Mets.

I've ridden the elevator with deceased ABC reporter Peter Jennings and Kevin Bacon. Both live(d) in the same apartment building as my friend in NYC.

While working in NYC I've seen the filming of many episodes of Law and Order and the actors snacking on food in between filming. A friend of mine had a small part as a cop in one of the episodes.

I've seen (not met) a ton of celebs in the Hamptons when I vacation at friend's of the family every summer. I've seen Christy Brinkley, Steven Spielberg, Jerry Seinfeld, Puff Daddy. My folks friends are neighbors with John McEnroe and I can hear him play tennis when I lounge in the pool! Howard Stern just bough the land next door and will be building. So I get to watch the progress of the house and hopefully meet him when I'm there.

My folks (not me) just met Bill and Hillary Clinton on vacation. They were staying at the same place. I asked my mother to tell Hillary to stay there!
