Today is a good day to be a Gator!
Can go buy a new National Champion shirt now. Am wearing my shirt from '96 today.
Urban is a great spokesperson/figurehead for the University... young, talented, charismatic, and well-spoken. What a feat to take the Gators to the national championship in his 2nd year.
Spurrier was and is a great coach, but had a knack for sticking his foot in his mouth & irritating people. He's tempered somewhat over the last few years, but Urban is the "face of the Gators" I'm proud to see. Was a little disappointed that not much credit was thrown Urban's way in the post game. Nonetheless, it was a masterfully-coached game.
Not much hubub out here on the left coast, but I've still gotta fly the colors proudly. |
