Typing a reply but not being logged on!

Has anyone typed out a message then clicked 'Submit' only to realize that you weren't logged on? The reply is then completely lost! What a wonderful feeling! It's no big deal if you just typed a line or two, but I just hammered out two fat paragraphs and don't have the energy or will to rehash it all.

Uggh..lesson learned to check status.

i haven't done that...but lost long posts and emails when the browser crashed or my wireless connection decided to puke during the submit portion.

i always copy all the text to the clipboard before posting/email if it's long enough...just to be safe. saved me many times.

Why don't you set yourself for auto logon?

Because I mostly use a work laptop at home and the company I work for closely monitors internet usage.
