Cool New Years weekend photos... trip to the Sierras.

My wife and I decided to get out of town for the holiday...my inlaws own a new log cabin up in the Sierras here in CA. Heres a few pics I snapped while I was there.

My daughter, right before our 5 mile hike in the snow.

Stream near our starting point.

Look out point on the way.

Sardine Lake... frozen.

Moon shots on the hike back.

My wife, daughter, and yours truely.

And of course... some detail shots. My #26 application finally quit after 5 months... so I quick detailed the truck before the trip. ONR.. clayed the hood and front... then added a coat of #21. I must say the #21 darkened the paint quite a bit. Looks good to me. These were taken after the 150 mile drive to the cabin.

I couldnt think of a better place to "get away from it all".
Ya feel like you can breathe when ya get away to a place like that. Your very fortunate to have in laws who have such beautiful property.
Beautiful looking family ya have there!
