We went up for our honeymoon to see the ball drop and will never do it again, hehe. The city itself was rather amazing at this time of year. We went to the Top of the Rock(efeller), top of the Empire State, etc etc....a fun city, but wayyy to tiring for a honeymoon. We both wished we had just laid like brocoli at a resort now instead....lol
Our last day in the city, we actually fell asleep like a couple of bums in Bryant Park, while watching the skating. We were so worn out from a week's worth of walking and whatnot....heh
Regards,
Mike

Yeah there is so much to do! I hope you took the wifey on a horse n buggy ride through Central Park. I was gonna take my girl to the Empire State Building (I have never been and lived here all my life). It's always a hit with the ladies!

Haha, it's like Graceland here for me. I've lived here all my life, but never set foot at Graceland, yet millions flock from all over the world.
We did go through Central Park one day, although it was miserable (cold and raining). We never got to do the horse and buggy thing, but we went to the Met and the Natural Science/History museums...
We'll be back one day, just not sure when!
Anyway, nice pics, brings back all those memories from last year seeing those sights!

The Museum of Natural History is reeee dunkyalous! You can kill 2-3 days just there. I hope you read the sign closely! The $20 or so they "charge" is just a suggested donation. When I went in college for a project I paid $2! LOL
Best time to swing through is Fall/Spring. May is propbably best as is September. It starts getting too humid in teh summer, especially in Manhattan where it gets liek a wet armpit! It's ok cuz one trip into the subway and the stench of urine will clear your sinuses! LOL

We went down the first weekend after the tree lighting -- Rockefeller was actually tougher to move around than Times Sq. But the city is great and festive this time of year.

TigerMike glad to see you had a good time in our little city. Like Diesel1 said you have to do the buggy ride around the park and bring something warm to drink.

I didn't have my mini tripod and viewing smaller sizes in PB didn't reflect the blurriness. Even with the tri-pod, I hate looking like a camera geek taking pics....but since I love great looking pics, I am going to have to man up and swallow my pride!
