Its the auto park feature of the new Lexus LS460. I have heard others say if used right the feature actually does well.

my friend asked me to be the passenger for the delivery of a top of the line LS460L (so we can use the carpool lane in SoCal rush hour). I really wanted to try out the self parking feature, but the last thing I wanted to do was wreck someone else's brand new $80,000 car! I wouldn't be surprised if Lexus gets a few lawsuits. There will always be people who shouldn't get anywhere near high tech stuff but out of stupidity and/or curiousity they do so anyway. | |

thats funny... ur right, I see lawsuits coming. Just like the guy in a Winabego that put on cruise control, then got up and made himself a cup of coffee. The crash took a few seconds to happen since no one was driving. I think he won over a million in court because the owner's manual didn't say anything about NOT getting up once cruise control was set. | |

eee... I remember this video being posted on Autoblog and everyone really hating on it, lol. I really hated it as well.
I get annoyed when stupid people make videos of their stupidity. Someone could've just read the manual, but, that's for losers, right?
Honestly, though, I don't see the point in this feature. It really only works for people who know how to park anyway, so.... ? I can see its usefulness in really tight parallel parking spots, but how many people who are of a class to actually buy the LS460 would be parking their car in random spots around the city? lol.

I think the guys did it on purpose. That's why they showed the clip of him parking it normally...THEN reparking it with the feature used.
My favorite part is when the guy in the back seat screams, "turn that ****ing music off!!"
