Correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure the 3m glaze would just remove the liquid glass.

While I would like to sit here and rag on this kid for certain things that we cringe on I don't have the heart to. When I look back on the things I used to do it was very similar, of course until I found Autopia.

He is on the right track. Yes, he should change a few things like not driving the car to remove water, keep supplies off of the ground, use MF for everything not just to store in the car for the missed spots, and most importantly his music selection for a detailing slide show

What I like is that you can tell he holds a passion to do the work like most of us do. He wasn't like some of the buffoons we've seen who tear things up with a rotary and post it online acting like they are a gift to the detailing profession.

I think if a bit of Autopian knowledge was instilled in him this kid could make his Prelude look better than he could imagine. Let’s hope he wanders across the site some day and learns the proper ways like most of us did.

If people had home computers and broadband when I were 16, that would have been my 1988 Mustang GT convertible in that video. I used to use Mothers California gold cleaner wax or Zymol just about every day. Maybe even a nice wash with Dawn when I would come home early from school.
Dont forget the tie on wool bonnet pads on a Milwaukee single speed rotary polisher with 3M heavy paste compound! Oh the good days.

Some of his comments are really funny. S100 was put here by car gods? I personally like how he lists two of the products as really hard to find and then says he got them at autozone and pep boys. The $20 being expensive was good too. I'm sure his intentions are good, but would like to see his car under full sun or see his washing routine.

Nice post, i dont agree with eveything he does, but its more then most people out there.
I left a comment telling him to come join us here or on detail city. I think hes got a pasion for what he does.

I'll give the kid that. He does a heck of a lot more than I did before I found autopia. Plus it seems that he is doing the best job he can with his current knowledge. I guess I can't say much because a couple years ago I would have thought the same things about the products he's using. He definately seems to have the passion needed to properly detail a car.
