XBOX360 or PS3

I dont know anthing about either and I can get my hands on both tomorrow AM. Which would you suggest for a 15 year old boy? I cant buy both, his Dad wouldn't be too happy with me, I already asked!

if money is no object...Playstation 3 all the way. You get a whole lot of bang for the buck.

Wow! A 6 to zero landslide in favor of the PS3. I figured it would go this way when I heard the asking price of this toy.

I have to pay $900.00 for the PS3 or $360.00 for the XBOX360. I was told the PS3 is a 60gb model.

I would want a PS3, but considering this isn't your own son, I don't know if I'd recommend overpaying for an already expensive system. Whatever his parents get him will pale in comparison to what you gave him.

Xbox360 has better games at the moment. For the next 12 months I'd rather have an Xbox360 (Gears of War rocks!).
Once Gran Turismo 5 comes out I'll probably be singing a different tune.
I think kids would definitely prefer *having* a PS3 although an Xbox or even Wii would probably be more fun playing games on (in the short term at least).

I want a 360 right now only because the number of games that are out and that it's a bit more mature than the PS3 platform. When the prices of PS3s drop, I'll be looking though.

Now to decide on which HDTV to get (right now, I'm looking at the Sharp Aquos LC-52D62U). Or wait until SED comes out
