Pretty random question

Will standing in front of a microwave make us men sterile? My microwave is positioned in a way which is near the groin area, and my mom keeps telling me to stand back from the microwave.

It had better not unless your unit is defective. Don't you think federal safety standards would regulate emissions from microwave ovens?

but personally I stand away from it anyway.

I think it goes in the same useless paranoia as cell phone towers and nuclear power plants (as in, in reality there is no danger), but there's really no reason to stand next to the microwave anyway so might as well not "risk" my future children!
