Parking under trees?
Is it ok to park under trees in the winter? Im fairly sure they do not put out sap when they are dormant.. Just wanted to make sure though..
Weve got a few Creek Maples at home that I will probably have to park under when I go home from school. I never park under them in the summer. But with the holidays and all, the driveway may be full.
Thanks..

Where are you at? Any possibility of snow? You might have a tree branch sitting on your car.

Yup, the only concern I can think of are tree parts committing suicide on your vehicle.
Otherwise, my concerns (which are irrelevant to you I guess heh) would be:
1) Bird crap
2) Acorns!
3) Sap
Yea. Acorns. They pelt parked cars all the time so I quit parking under trees because I don't want scratches and possibly small dents... or scratches on my glass roof! ugh. stupid acorns.

ACORNS!! I know!! They are insane. I went to a cabin my family owns for a family reunion and my dad said be sure NOT to park under any oak trees. I or course didnt and was sitting on the front porch when I heard one hit another car! Those things were HUGE!! I had never seen acorn that big!!Quote: Originally Posted by paul34
