VWvortex Forums: What happens when you let 2 mk1 kids drive your S4 from NY to Seattle? (56k, not a chance)

Im assuming the lot of you know why people put tape on their cars....to protect from rock chips on long travels. The above link is 2 guys story 3000 miles.

You know I saw this featured on Autoblog a few weeks ago... I thought it was pretty cool until I was able to read the entire article (which you linked). Haha that is really cool!

Looks like those times that you can look back on and realize how priceless it really was.
