No previews for the final episode, I think a lot of stuff is coming to a head. I'd love to see Marlo, Chris and Snoop get their's but they are such good characters, I wouldn't mind them carrying over into next season. The best part is the kids though. First rate actors and characaters.
Micheal is becoming a serious bad-a$$ and Namond isn't as tough as he tries to act, but I kind of saw that coming with how he interacts with Bunny (Mr. Colvin) and damn! his Mom is a real piece of work. Randy is capable of leaving the streets and being a productive member of society, I guess it depends on what happens with his foster mom (if you haven't seen it, I won't spoil it by saying what happens). Duquan has it tough, not sure what will happen to him in high school and away from Prez.
Omar is Omar. Baddest guy on the show. Glad to see that punk Brodie is still around too-seems a little conflicted this season...
Feel free to discuss, no spoilers, I know the whole season has been available on the internet for a while but I haven't seen the last episode yet.

ScottWAx- Accumulatorette and I are big fans of The Wire We like it so much that we tape up a bunch of episodes so we can watch a few hours of it straight...one hour at a time isn't enough! Best series on TV in our opinion, especially since Deadwood's gone. They do a great job with the development and depth of the characters, lots of thought being put into it and they don't assume the viewer is an idiot.

My buddy tapes it for me. Love The Wire better than the Sopranos

You end up caring what happens to them, especially the kids. Very interesting how events play out from the prospective of the bad guys, the police, the politicians and the kids.
35TH LE-definitely worth checking out. If you have HBO In Demand, you can watch the whole season.
Yal-The Wire is the best HBO series and that is really saying something, considering how good The Sopranos, Deadwood and Rome are...and I am looking foward to the new season of Rome.

Somehow I just don't see the underlying complexity in Namond but I'm gonna be paying close attention. We're hoping that Duquan ends up having a big brain that can get him a better life. It does seem like they aren't doing much with the girls though (other than that cutting!).
My wife thinks they've done a great job with Carcetti, really let his character grow. And we sure like the ex-con guy who runs the gym (what's his name again ), they oughta let him get involved at the school somehow.
Gee, I dunno how much we can really discuss this stuff as I'm a few episodes behind (that saving-them-up thing) and I don't want any hints

I agree about Carcetti too. Very realistic portrayal of someone who genuinely wants to help the city and is frustrated with all the roadblocks in his way.

I'll hold off saying anything more until the episode airs on Sunday for those who don't have In Demand.

Accumulatorette is going out of town and we won't be watching our accumulated ( ) episodes until she gets back...Oh, the suspense!
