Just my luck..

Didnt want to put this in the Detailing discussion so Ill put it here.

I just put a good coat of NXT on the jeep via PC on MEGS w-8006 pad this past weekend..

I was coming back to school today and thought I would stop and get some gas. I always click the thing at least once after it stops filling. Ive been driving for 4 years(im 20) and Ive never had any problems doing that, but for some reason it wanted to over flow and get gas all over the side of my jeep and rear mudflap. I had forgotten to bring any QD or MF's like I always do incase of bird-poo and such so I had to use the awful paper towels they have at the pumps.. I had some Megs ASD on the mudl-flap and it took ALL of that off so now its white(should be black!?!).. I know it took all of the wax off the fender and what ever it touched and I probably have some swirls from using those crappy paper towels(couldnt just leave it covered in gas).. I do not have any wax with me or anything.. Forgot it all at home.. I may go home this weekend so Im fairly sure everything will be ok..

Just thought I would share my crappy experience..

Re: Just my luck..

Yea I had that happen once. It was stupid Shell station (first and last time), and I couldn't get the stupid pump to start. Apparently whoever had pumped gas last left gasoline in the pump, so when I took it out of the tank, I let the nozzle point down, at which point a nice amount of gasoline politely covered the side of my tC and fell on the wheel and tire. Ugh.

Luckily (for once rain is good!) it was raining so I didn't wipe it up... just drove home in the rain then hosed it off. Waxed it... its all good
