If she felt any pain, it was for just a millisecond. One of the pics is brain matter.
For those of you faulting her parents for raising a bad kid...you must walk on water, have never sinned or never done anything stupid in your life.
She made a few poor choices... now her family must deal with the aftermath.
Let them grieve in peace.

Before hitting the tree the front of the car was cut in 2 by a stop sign-the stop sign pole was bent but still standing . The only thing that was recognizable was a rear wheel. Hopefully some teens see those pictures and think about it.

Quote from OC Register:
Police found open alcoholic beverage containers inside of the Honda but alcohol is not suspected as a cause of the collision, CHP officials said.

Not sure what you're referring to, but she was driving a Porsche 911 cabriolet, and she clipped a Honda Civic she was trying to pass on the right. I've seen some posts suggesting she was drinking or drunk, but it wasn't mentioned in the news reports I've read.

Interesting... although local news usually gets a lot of facts wrong, the wording of the article doesn't make it clear car was indeed hers and as you said there is no mention of alcohol.
It is possible the whole backstory to this is simply an urban legend in the making.

The only mention of alcohol according to the OC Register was that it was found in the Honda Civic that she clipped, which was driven by a 20 year old male, but that was not the suspected reason for the accident, which implies that the girl was sober and the cause of the accident.

My condolences go out to her parents. I am 18, I have never driven above 60, and I've been driving for two years. All 18 year olds are not like this, believe me. I think she was brainwashed that her 911 was unstoppable and pushed it to its limits. That damage on that Porsche is absolutely consistent with speeds WAY over 100mph, not to mention the head trauma on the girl...Just goes to show you that physics takes NO prisoners.
Life is truly amazing. | |
